East Risdon Reserve–coastal track

 

This is the coastal track via Shag Bay.  There is a higher route via the top of Government Hills also.

Winds round the headland on a well made  gravel track until overlooking Shag Bay.  from there the track is of a lesser standard and parts quite steep and loose when descending to Tommys Bight.  From there to Porter Bay is a reasonable dirt track.

There is an aboriginal site near Bedlam Walls Point
